Forum: GratefulDead Subject: "Big LMA Lock" username: Loogy on the Groks -- here's some info

There are a few others that know the truth, however, "Big LMA Lock" participates in the nightly GROKS. One of his usernames on the GROK being: "Loogy."

Friends: "Loogy" has "issues" -- and one of those (if he was telling us the truth one night) is that he was involved in a bad accident -- real bad accident. I think there was a head injury involved and he takes plenty of meds. I am not f#ckin' around here - no satire, jokes, etc. - I just want you to know the deal. How could I possibly bash someone with medical issues? Seriously. Me??? I've been "dead" or told "you're not going to survive...." so many times that the physicians gave up trying to figure out why I am still here OK? Now you know this post is no joke. ....so how can I bash somebody like "Big LMA Lock" (aka: Loogy) if he really does have medical issues, especially if they are in relation to a head injury which, thank God, is not something I have to deal with(?)

Friends, when this cat writes a post like the one he did on "robthewordsmith's" thread and makes a run at me, please --- PLEASE --- just leave it alone. Let it be. The universe spirals towards chaos; let's not speed up that process. Hate begets hate.

There is one other tidbit that I can tell you about this cat that would send this place flyin' into a clusterf#ck. But that's not why we are here; as I stated above, "hate begets hate," but there really is one other fact about Loogy that would bring everything into focus ...and upset you in a really bad way. There is too much beauty here that I would destroy if I made the choice to enter the final piece of info. For what? My ego??? In addition, too much goodwill has been provided by SDH, WHARFRAT, and WWD to create and maintain the Grok for us. I have WAY too much respect for them and others that attend the Groks to provide the piece of info. I have chosen to omit.

So please don't do anything when you see this cat make a run at me ...or anybody else actually. We are here for the music and I am here trying to distribute as much music as possible in-between time-outs for the Crohn's.

DON'T MISS TIGERBOLT'S VAULT #15 JUST RELEASED -- I have listened to the first song five times non-stop.....

Send me an email if you need further explanation of anything here. Your friend, --- AshesRising

Well as Loogy and other grok'd 10/11/77 last night, BLL investigated other shows in 77.......BLL came upon Houston 10/14/77, not much out of the ordinary except the evenings encore presentation;
E:Brokedown Palace-> E: Playin' In The Band
Check it out.
http://www.archive.org/details/gd77-10-14.sbd.gorinsky.6693.sbeok.shnf

not a bad show either;

Jack Straw, Mississippi Half Step-> El Paso, Brown Eyed Women, Minglewood Blues, Loser, Passenger, Friend Of The Devil, Me & My Uncle, Tennessee Jed, The Music Never Stopped

Bertha-> Good Lovin', Candyman, Playin' In The Band-> Drums-> The Wheel-> Wharf Rat-> Around & Around,

BLL: doesn't it just totally suck when they do something like this for an encore? ..waiting all night for maybe a sweet "Don't Ease Me In" encore and they do a stunt like this... horrible, isn't it?

Great call... "Broke-down" is one of the most heartfelt versions I have ever heard; I wonder what was goin' down at that time(?) ...simply beautiful. [Does it come off as a bit slow on your connection? ...not a complaint - just an observation and wondering if it is due to bad access on my side]

Thanks again for the tip -- as soon as I find my copy on DP#29 it will be goin' your way....and to the other clown that completed our version of "The Three Stooges." I need your email address (Jerri1031-dp3 AT yahoo DOT com -- that is a hyphen, not underscore, before "dp3"]

Neither. Our new-found, friend, and former lost sailor, "BLL," is both Moe & Curly. I am Olive Oyle. [And now that we went and found the lost Lamb, "BLL", did you really feel the need to open the door for him to tear this ol' building down??? Think about what he's gonna reply when he sees the name "Curly..."]

BLL: restrain yourself, buddie... please... I hope to see both of you two morons later at the Grok-Around-The-Clock.

olive oyle!?!? That is wrong on so many levels.

Hopefully Curly/Moe will also bring Shemp. I liked him but not Joe or Curly Joe.

Thanx for the honarable mention ASHES. You are so correct when
you say the music is what this place is all about my good friend! Personally i don't think any man here needs someone to stand up for them. And i know you above all people don't need someone to stand up for you!

What you bring to this forum and your generosity is true to your soul. You are a very kind person! We all have been touched by it. You have blessed this place with so much of your kindness. I personally don't do battle in words with anyone on the internet. It is as losing battle man.

Loogy has been pretty cool in chatzy and yes he has issues, so do we all!
We all know who he is and as long as he remains cool there is no problem. after all.... all are welcome to join in and share thier expierences..... that IS what this place is all about.

Winding downn the the week-end man hope to catch you ashes
later on man. Peace to all!!

WHARFRAT: You are so far above an "Honorable Mention" that I need to hang-out on the International Space Station to see you tower over our Grok Universe. I haven't figured-out how that "Chatzy" thing fully operates, but I do know there is money involved and you and SDH (and possibly others) are always somehow involved with its smooth sailing.

And never --- NOT EVEN ONCE --- has anybody ever asked me to contribute any cash.. Priceless.

You are way above "Honorable Mention," my friend

Ashes, SDH is the man I am but a pawn in the game man.
As long as he allows me to I will do what i can to share the music and get us together. As far as I know chatzy is all on SDH!! IT is HIS HOLLOWED GROUND!!! Though there I tread daily man! Should be there at 8 pm tonight.

Hope to see ya man!!

wharf, might be there myself, and may i suggest a short intro grok of the 2/11/70 DS > Spanish Jam > Lovelight? this amazing segment clocks in at 55'59 and is jam-packed with that good, good feeling; and even if you're not a Pig fan, anyone with any ears has to just love this Lovelight, and dare i say it ... best ever? Greg Allman puts Pig to shame with his deep-south southern vocals

groove on people

Thanks Ashes. Hopefully this information will help some to understand. The forum has been progressing the past few days, let's all do our part to keep it that way.
